Just to be clear, this post might be sponsored, but these are the actual beans we use every week! I love cooking black beans from scratch, but it’s a lot of work and it takes a lot of time, and if I’m being completely honest, the ones I cook are not nearly as good as BUSH’S® Savory Beans!
G loves black beans, like LOOOOVES them, so we use them a lot around here. For today, I’m sharing my top 3 and most frequent ways we just heat & eat BUSH’S® Savory Beans. These are my absolute favorite ones:
We always buy the Black Bean Fiesta flavor, but there are other two flavors that we haven’t tried yet and I’m sure are just as good. BUSH’S® Savory Beans are made from the best beans and are a great, easy meal enhancer that can improve your everyday meals. Plus, they are naturally gluten-free and cholesterol-free!! All of them are available at Walmart.
These are our top 3 ways to enjoy BUSH’S® Savory Beans. All three of them are so easy that anyone can recreate any of these recipes.
- Chicken tostadas:
Super easy. I always have shredded chicken in my fridge because this is one of my favorite ways to eat it. I put it over tostadas, and then add lettuce, tomatoes, green onions, cilantro, avocado, red onions and BUSH black beans. This is my lunch at least once a week! You can also try this for dinner and, if chicken is not your thing, then use ground beef or ground turkey.
- Southwest chicken + black beans salad bowl:
If salads are more your thing, then this one is for you. I personally don’t like boring salads. I need to make them look and taste VERY good. The only thing you’ll need to cook is the chicken, that’s it. The rest is cutting the veggies, and heat the beans. It’s easy, healthy and so nutritious. I use lettuce, spinach, cherry tomatoes, cilantro, red onions, jalapeños, green onions and avocado. And of course BUSH black beans and chicken breast.
Mix everything together, add some spicy sauce if you want to and you’ll have one delicious and super balanced meal. You don’t even need a dressing. Between the beans and the spicy sauce you’ll get plenty of flavor. I promise.
- Ground beef salad bowls:
This is G’s favorite. It’s basically the same as the southwest chicken one, but with ground beef instead and I also add brown rice (although it’s delicious without it too!). If you follow me on Instagram, you’ve for sure seen all of these meals.
The only difference between these bowls is of course, the quantity LOL. G eats way much more than I do, and since he needs more carbs, I add brown rice to his bowl. In order to really enjoy all the flavors, mix everything together (after you take that IG photo of course).
Other ways we heat & eat BUSH’S® Savory Beans:
- With pork, rice and plantains
- We add it to burritos! We love eating burritos over the weekend.
- With quinoa, avocados and tons of veggies (another favorite bowl)
