You’re here because you’re probably as curious as I was about Vegamour and whether it can truly work wonders for your hair. So, buckle up because I’m about to take you on a very honest ride through my personal hair transformation journey. I’ll be sharing exactly which Vegamour products I used, how often I used them and what I liked and didn’t like.
Spoiler alert: there are some pretty jaw-dropping before-and-after photos ahead!
My Hair Loss Struggle: The Beginning
Let’s rewind a bit. A couple of years ago, I found myself in the middle of a major hair crisis.
I travel the world full time and make YouTube videos of our experiences around the world, so I have to look at myself on camera more often than most people. So, one day I started noticing my hairline and how it was starting to recede.
I didn’t make much of it, until I also started noticing that I was losing so much hair. So, during one of our trips back to the US, and after stumbling upon a couple of well targeted Instagram ads, I immediately ordered the ‘Vegamour Gro+ Advanced hair serum.
Because I travel with carry-on only, I didn’t have much space for extra products. So I only ordered two. This was enough for 2 months. And the results were amazing! I was so happy ♥️
However, I ran out of product, time passed and a year later I noticed the problem coming back. That’s when I got real serious and decided to try even more Vegamour products to tackle this annoying problem once and for all!
For those of you who’ve been through it, you know that hair loss can be a real confidence killer. Every time I looked in the mirror, I couldn’t help but notice what was going on. It was even harder to see the video footage (it didn’t help that I was the one editing the videos), and on top of that, I had to share those videos on YouTube despite feeling super insecure about it… thankfully no one commented anything about it! 🙏🏼
But still, I was desperate for a solution that didn’t involve drastic hairstyles to cover up the thinning patches. So I decided to give it a shot one more time.
What did I have to lose? Except more hair, of course 😆
💁🏻♀️Trying Vegamour: Second Attempt!
I was ready for my second attempt with Vegamour! And this time I tried even more products.
These are the products I tried:
2️⃣ GRO Foundation Kit (includes shampoo, conditioner and a scalp detoxifying serum.)
I also personally love that Vegamour is plant-based and cruelty-free. And let’s be real, their raving reviews didn’t hurt either!
My Daily/Weekly Vegamour Routine:
Before I dive into the results, let’s talk about the routine. The key to any hair growth product is consistency, and I was determined to stick with it.
1️⃣ Every morning, I’d apply a few drops of the GRO Hair Serum directly to my scalp, focusing on the areas where my hair was thinning the most. I’d gently massage it in (because who doesn’t love a good scalp massage?) and let it work its magic.
2️⃣ I washed my hair twice a week, and each time I used the shampoo and conditioner.
3️⃣ And once a week I used the scalp detoxifying serum.
How Long Do The Products Last?
I’ve been traveling since April 8th, and have only been using Vegamour’s products. Here’s my current inventory, 2 months later:
- The serum lasts exactly 30 days if you use it daily (which you should). The only thing I don’t like about it, is that towards the end you can’t use the dropper to squeeze every last drop. You kind of have to tilt the bottle to get everything out. Which is not a big deal. You’ll only have to do this to squeeze out the serum for the last couple of days.
- The shampoo lasted me 2 months. I wash my hair twice a week and shampoo twice each time.
- The conditioner seems like it will last 4 months. I still have half the bottle.
- The scalp detoxifying serum seems like it will last 3 months. You only apply this one once a week, so it makes sense that it lasts a little bit longer. I think I still have product for 4-6 weeks!
Overall, I’m really happy with how long the products last. I know it’s quite an investment, so I hope you find it useful having this info.
It might be different for you, but I’m only sharing this because they have an amazing subscription program where you can save so much money. So this way you’ll know more or less how often you actually need to order new products.
😬 The First Few Weeks: Patience is Key
I won’t lie; the first few weeks were a test of my patience. I religiously followed the routine but didn’t notice any immediate changes. If anything, I had to fight the urge to douse my scalp in even more serum, hoping it would speed up the process. Pro tip: don’t do that. More isn’t always better.
Around the fourth week, I started to see some subtle changes. My scalp felt healthier, and there was definitely less hair shedding. It wasn’t a dramatic difference, but it was enough to keep me motivated.
😍 The 6-week Mark: Transformation Time
And then it happened. Around the 6-week mark, I woke up, looked in the mirror, and did a double-take. My hair was noticeably fuller. The thinning patches were filling in, and there was a new wave of baby hairs sprouting up. Cue the celebratory happy dance! 💃🏻
Here’s where I share the photos because seeing is believing, right? Let’s start with the before picture:
As you can see, my hair was thinning around the temples and crown. Now, fast forward to the two-month mark:
What a difference, right? The after photos show a significant improvement in volume and thickness. Those baby hairs are like little warriors, fighting their way back to restore my confidence.
As I mentioned earlier, I still have 4+ weeks to keep using these amazing products. So I expect a bright future for my hair and self esteem ✨
Final Thoughts: Is Vegamour Worth It?
In a word: YES 👏🏼
Vegamour exceeded my expectations and gave me back not just my hair, but my confidence too. The journey wasn’t overnight, but good things rarely are. Patience and consistency were key, and the results were absolutely worth the wait.
If you’re struggling with hair loss, I totally recommend giving Vegamour a try.
Hair loss can be a tough battle, but remember, you’re not alone. There are solutions out there, and with a bit of patience and perseverance, you can achieve the hair of your dreams.
Here’s to healthier, happier hair days ahead! 💁♀️✨
