Why I love a simple dress like this one
A dress like this is so versatile. I love the color too. A piece like this will never go out of style, believe me. I like to have different wrap dresses in my closet because they really compliment my body shape.
I’m very curvy and hour glass shaped, so a wrap dress can help accentuate my waist.
This type of dress actually works for most body types which is rare to find! Even though the one I’m wearing is an oldie, I found a similar option here.
I actually bought it for my mother in law and she loved it! I’m about to get it for myself too ☺️
How to maximize the pieces you already have in your closet?
I’ve been sharing tips on how to maximize everything you have in your closet, that’s why I’ve been creating these ‘outfit formulas’ you’ll see below.
My goal with sharing these posts is to inspire you to recreate some of these looks with things you already own, help you dress better and easily every day, so you can feel better and go out to the world feeling confident. Dressing well can do that for you!
It’s not the only thing you need, but whenever I feel good about myself I feel like I can kill it!
💃🏻 You know what I’m saying?
Do you feel like your closet needs a revamp but don’t know where to start?
I can help you with that. I designed a 7-question quiz to understand the state of your closet. Not only that, I will also tell you exactly what to do next. And this is all free!
Get started by answering these questions and follow the steps ⬇️
Steps to follow to create your own looks:
1️⃣ Pick one of the outfit formulas below to follow.
2️⃣ Take out similar pieces out of your closet and separate them in piles (all the dress options together, all the t-shirt options together, all the shoes options together, etc).
3️⃣ In this case the ‘Hero piece’ is the dress, so try to pick a similar one and create looks around that one dress.
4️⃣ Start mixing! Follow the formula. That’s really it!
⭐️Bonus: Take some photos for future reference. That way you won’t have to think about what to wear in the future.
I honestly hope this helps! If you have any questions, seriously, don’t hesitate to ask! I’m here to help :)
6 looks with one Spring dress – Outfit Inspiration
Outfit ideas for Spring – Look 1:
One of my favorite ways to style a spaghetti strap dress or sleeveless dress is to layer it with a white t-shirt. It’s so simple and it really changes the way the dress looks.
If you need an extra layer you can always add a denim jacket on top, add a nice statement necklace or earrings and heels, and there you have another look! You’re welcome 😉
The outfit formula:
White T-shirt + Dress + White sneakers

Who doesn’t love a good monochromatic moment? There’s just something about wearing the same color head to toe that makes you feel like you’ve got your life together—even if you’re just running to Target. It’s super easy, and trust me, once you try it, you’ll be hooked!
My favorite go-to colors lately? Navy, black, all the shades of grey, teal, military green, and, of course, blush (because who doesn’t love a little pink vibe in the spring?). It’s one of those outfit combos that never fails, and somehow it always makes you feel ridiculously chic.
To nail the look, grab a lightweight trench coat that’s the same (or a similar) color as your dress. Bonus points if you’ve got sandals to match! But don’t stress if you don’t, other sandals work perfectly too.
The outfit formula:
Lightweight trench (same color as dress if possible) + Dress + Sandals

Who says spring dresses are just for spring? This look is proof that your favorite spring dresses can totally work for those chillier days too. Just throw on a long cardigan, slip into some leather booties, and voilà—you’ve got yourself a cozy-yet-stylish vibe that works for almost any season.
You can easily mix and match pieces to recreate this look all year round. Think lighter cardigans and ankle booties for spring, chunkier knits and tall boots for fall, and maybe even a wool coat layered over everything for winter.
The best part about this combo? It’s comfy and looks like you actually put some thought into your outfit.
The outfit formula:
Long cardigan + Dress + Leather Booties

This is another version of a monochromatic look, but with different shoes and a handbag instead of a lightweight trench.
Who doesn’t love a matchy-matchy moment? This look is all about keeping things simple, sleek, and so put-together that it looks like you tried way harder than you actually did.
The best part? You can’t mess this up because everything is the same color family. It’s foolproof!
The outfit formula:
Dress + Neutral pumps + Handbag (if possible all the same color)

Is it even spring if you’re not rocking a denim jacket? Of course not! You know I had to include this classic look because, let’s be honest, a denim jacket is basically the MVP of spring outfits. The best part? You can toss it over literally any dress in your closet, and it just works.
For this look, I kept it simple and added flat sandals and a straw hat because sometimes you just want to feel cute and comfy. Whether you’re heading to a farmer’s market, grabbing iced coffee with friends, or going for a casual stroll, this outfit nails that effortless, laid-back vibe.
Want to mix it up? Try different washes of denim! Light wash for a more relaxed feel or dark wash for a slightly dressier vibe. You can even roll up the jacket sleeves for an extra touch of cool.
And don’t forget the accessories! Swap the straw hat for a baseball cap if you’re keeping it sporty, or add some fun statement earrings to elevate the look.
The outfit formula:
Dress + Denim jacket + Flat Sandals + Straw Hat

And last but not least… I’ll be real, I was running out of outfit ideas for this one. 😂
But when in doubt, button-down shirts to the rescue! Seriously, they’re the ultimate style cheat code. You can wear them open, tie them at the waist, or even layer them over your dress like I did here. Easy, right?
My go-to button-downs are linen shirts and chambray because they’re lightweight, comfy, and give off that effortlessly cool vibe.
Pair your dress with a chambray shirt, some crisp white sneakers (because sneakers make everything better), and a cute crossbody bag. 💥 Boom, outfit complete!
The outfit formula:
Dress + Chambray shirt + White sneakers + Crossbody bag
