Here’s a post I never thought I would write LOL
Never in a million years I would have even considered buying combat boots and I can honestly say that right now, these are basically the only ones I’ve been wearing! Isn’t that crazy? My style has changed SO MUCH over the years and I love that we are constantly doing this in every aspect of our lives.
Making changes to feel better about ourselves, to be better humans, to have more grace, to be a light to the people around us, to be better at our jobs, etc. There’s nothing wrong with change as long is for the good. It’s ok to evolve, it’s ok to want more while appreciating the present and it’s ok to change. Never forget that.
Anyways, I’m glad my style has changed so much and that I said yes to these cute boots! They are surprisingly warm and there has not been one time I’ve worn these without someone stopping me to ask where I got them.
Well, let me tell you where I got them! They are from White Mountain Shoes and they are available on their website and also at Macy’s (These are the ‘Blush’ ones). They come in 4 different colors and most sizes are still available (All colors – Link here). All colors are $69, but the navy ones are $39. (Navy ones – Link here).
I styled them with skinny jeans and this beautiful teal balloon sleeve sweater from Express. Added the striped scarf and pink beanie to tie everything together and of course wore a puffer coat over it (not pictured) because it’s freezing in Chicago!!
What do you think? Yay or nay?
I must add that these boots are super comfy too and have kept my feet warm during cold winter days as well. They are available in five different colors and you can check them out by visiting this link. Keep in mind that they run perfectly true to size, seriously, they fit like a glove. You can expect to see them here on the blog all year round, except for summer… Or who knows… Maybe even during summer as well 🙂
Also, I recently posted about these jeans from Mott & Bow on my IG and I really love them because they fit great in all the right places, but they stain my shoes blue. It comes out after I clean them with an alcohol wipe but still… I’m afraid to wear them with white tops. I’ve washed them twice already and I still have the same problem.
Does anyone know how to fix this? Let me know in the comments below!
Thank you so much for stopping by! Don’t forget to come back on Wednesday because I’ll be styling them in a whole new different way!
