Today I felt like dressing up a little bit. As you will realize over time I’m obsessed with blue in all its shades, types, forms and prints. I constantly find myself buying more and more blue clothes and whenever I have other options I always go back to.. guess what… BLUE! But currently I’m trying to make an effort to add more colors to my wardrobe. Definitely not the case today. Today’s look is what I like to call being blued.

I paired this printed butterfly wrap dress, that I’ve had for quite a while now, with royal blue tights and navy military coat plus a cute ponytail and black pumps because blue shoes would have been too much. LOL. By the way, heels and snow is not a good idea.

I have three rules when dressing head-to-toe with strong/bright colors:

  1. Break the pattern with another color for your accessories (It contradicts I know but it will make perfect sense) like I did here with my shoes.
  2. Add a print of the same color you’re wearing (In this case, the dress).
  3. Use different shades. Remember this and you’ll be just fine when you try something similar.

Of course, there are few exceptions, like with neutrals. Just ask Kate Middleton or Kim K.

Have a great day and thank you so much for reading!

I have found that the key to running a popular website is making sure the visitors you are getting are interested in your niche. There is a company that you can get targeted visitors from and they let you try their service for free for 7 days. I managed to get over 300 targeted visitors to day to my site. Check it out here:
