BACK TO SCHOOL OUTFITS – PART 2
Hello everyone! Happy Humpday!
How’s your week going so far? Is everyone enjoying the short week?
This week I’m sharing with you 3 back to school looks that also double as everyday casual looks now that the temps are starting to cool down a little bit (at least here in Chicago). Don’t forget to check out the one I posted on Monday here.
As for today I wanted to create something completely different, but at the same time 100% my style. I wouldn’t know how to describe my style to be honest. It pretty much depends on my mood that day. I own from boho-chic pieces to romantic ones to rocker chic ones. Go figure. However in the end, I think in general, I’m super conservative and I like to be comfortable.
This look is perfect for back to school season and I created it by accident because I needed a navy flowy skirt. I didn’t want to buy one, so I decided to use a dress instead and put on a top and a scarf that I used like a belt to make it look like a skirt. Have you tried wearing a dress as a skirt? I added my go-to denim jacket of course, and burgundy velvet flats to match the scarf/belt.
What do you guys think?
Let me know your thoughts in the comments below!
See you guys tomorrow with another “Back to School” outfit!
Thank you so much for stopping by 🙂
XO,

Loving the denim jacket touch! Seriously, any outfits with a denim jacket changes it all up! The sunnies are super cool too, xx
Hello my friend. I love how you styled this. Your back to school outfits are seriously perfect! You are so darn smart! You could have not said that was a dress and we all would have thought that was a skirt! GENIUS! Also I love your cross necklace my friend. So pretty.
Love, Dom
SUch a great idea to put a tee over a dress! I do this in the winter, I love throwing on a sweater over a maxi…it’s the perfect way to wear them an extra time or two!
Love your style and your photos are beautiful!
I love the velvet bow detail most especiallY xo, SUzanne
Another delightful back to school look darling Aimara! Today you went for a preppy uptown girl style, which you don as beautifully as the more casual look you posted on Monday! Much love darling! Baci, Valeria – Coco et La vie en rose FASHION & BEAUTY
Those flats are so cute! Love the color. Perfect for fall. And everyone needs a good denim jacket!
Hey hun… yes indeed the week is too short. I wish it was longer…. anyway I love ur look and the velvet piece you have incorporated in it. I am almost getting a sarah michellr gellar vibe from her role in cruel intentions …. but not a negative one… dont worry. Love the jeans jacket as well. I feel it completes the whole look beautifully.
Xoxo
Part 2 did not disappoint, you look so darling and I love the velvet belt and flats as a nice touch of accent and color.

I can’t believe how much we have in common and how similar our styles are! Sometimes I think you are my long lost little sister! Lol ! Seriously I’m just like you when it comes to wanting to try something new but then, my style is my style! Love the velvet belt with the denim!!
This is one thing I have never tried before and now I’m going to have to! It definitely looked like a skirt to me before you told us otherwise. I love how it’s classy and casual, both at the same time 🙂
Girl you’re looking adorable in that outfit
