A white T Shirt – 10 ways to wear it this Summer

A white T Shirt – 10 ways to wear it this Summer

If you’ve been following for a while then you know. My obsession with white t-shirts is REAL, and during Summer it gets even more intense. That’s why I decided to create 10 new white t-shirts looks just for Summer and incorporating pieces I’ve gotten over the past few months.

I’ll walk you through these looks one by one, give you ideas and share different occasions you may wear some of these. The goal is that you feel inspired to recreate some of these looks with things you already have in your closet. You don’t need the exact pieces I’m wearing! I encourage you to get creative with the things you already own.

If you need any of these basics, I’ve left the links to the exact and similar pieces under each pic. So, ready? Here we go!

Look 1: This is a super basic look, but super cute because of the hat. It looks super simple, but it’s a great go-to look to hang out, run errands, explore your own city or on vacation and great for the airport (Plus a denim jacket). I always say that when you have the right accessories and do something nice to your hair & makeup, you definitely look more put together, no matter what you are wearing.

Hat: It was a gift. Handmade in Ecuador 🙂 (Similar here)

Pants: Albion Fit

Shoes: KOIO (More affordable option here)

Look 2: Another favorite Summer look that is also super comfortable! The weather in Chicago hasn’t been consistently nice, but I’m really looking forward to wear this look on repeat this Summer. It’s cute, comfortable and so easy to recreate!

Chambray Shirt: Old Navy

T-shirt: Old Navy

Shorts: Shein

Shoes: KOIO (More affordable option here)

Bag: Meijer Stores (Similar here)

Look 3: Who says you can’t go out wearing a white t-shirt? That’s the beauty of this closet staple; you can wear it for pretty much any occasion!! It never fails with black skinny jeans and sandals, but I added the long vest to dress it up even a little bit more. You can also recreate this look without the vest and maybe add a belt or a nice necklace or earrings.

T-shirt: Old Navy

Long Vest: Express (Similar here)

Jeans: Citizens of Humanity

Sandals: Ann Taylor

Look 4: Another cute look to just run errands, go to brunch or hang out with your girlfriends. Very easy to recreate as well and so comfortable! I’ve been all about feeling comfortable lately, and during Summer is all I care about because the heat can be a little intense sometimes.

Look 5: Another look that is great for going out. I love dressing up my white t-shirts and long vests are a great way to do it. You can also recreate this look with black skinnies or strappy sandals, use whatever you have in your closet. The good thing about wearing neutral basic pieces is that you can go crazy mixing them together.

Long Vest: Francesca’s (Similar here)

T-shirt: Old Navy

Jeans: Citizens of Humanity

Sandals: White Mountain Shoes (Similar here)

Bag: J.Jill (Similar here)

Look 6: I love this look to run errands. I rarely wear sneakers outside the gym, but during Summer I love to walk everywhere and this is by far the comfiest way to do it. I added this lightweight trench to dress up the look a little bit and also to cover my butt lol. I don’t like to go out the whole day with super short and tight shorts, so wearing a longer piece like this one, a sweater or a vest feels more comfortable to me.

Sunnies: Illesteva

Lightweight trench: Cupcakes & Cashmere (Similar here)

T-shirt: Old Navy

Shorts: LOFT

Sneakers: Adidas

Look 7: Another go-to and easy to recreate look. Seems super simple, but when you add the hat and the straw bag it looks a lot better, right? As you can see I’m obsessed with these sandals I got at Meijer!! 🙂 I’ll be wearing them all Summer long!!

Hat: Urban Outfitters (Similar here)

T-shirt: Old Navy

Skirt: Meijer Stores (Similar here)

Bag: Unknown (Sorry!) Similar here

Sandals: Meijer Stores (Similar here)

Look 8: I love love red skinny jeans! I use to have them a few years ago, got rid of them, and a few months ago I bought a new pair. I think they are a good option when you feel like wearing jeans but want to look different. Does this make sense? hahaha

Jeans: Old Navy (Similar ones here)

Look 9: This look is so cute for brunch or for a nice Summer dinner at a patio… those are the best!! Also very easy to recreate. I’m sure you have beige shorts, a comfy cardi and espadrilles (colors don’t really matter here). You can add the hat if you want to, but truth is, it also looks super cute without the hat.

T-shirt: Old Navy

Sweater: Shein (One of my best Shein finds!)

Shorts: Ann Taylor

Sandals: White Mountain Shoes (Similar here)

Look 10: Last but not least, I wanted to dress up my white t-shirt a little bit. I wore this to an event a couple of weeks ago and got so many compliments and it’s really such an easy look to recreate. You can basically use any fun, dressy skirt you have and strappy sandals and have fun accessorizing!

Earrings: Francesca’s (Similar here)

T-shirt: Old Navy

Skirt: Shein

Sandals: Forever 21 (Similar here)

Bag: J.Jill (Similar here)

PS: If you go to my Instagram profile, you’ll see I have a bunch of highlights. Feel free to browse 🙂 There’s one dedicated to white t-shirts that has 40 looks that I’ve been posting over the past 18 months. Hope they inspire you to try something new. Also, I’m sure you noticed a lot of these pieces are from Meijer Stores. Unfortunately they don’t have them available online, but make sure to visit your local Meijer, because they seriously have so many cute, affordable things! The one I always go-to is outside the city, in Rolling Meadows (1301 Meijer Drive. Rolling Meadows, IL 60008).

As for my favorite brands of white t-shirts that you guys are always asking about: The one in these photos is from Old Navy. I also have one from BP (Nordstrom) and one from Madewell. LOVE all 3 of them. I usually have 3 and get new ones a couple of times a year, because the under arm area gets a little bit stained over time and I don’t like that. That’s why I usually don’t spend over $25 on a white t-shirt. BUT, there are other brands that are a little bit more pricey and are really really good if you don’t have the same problem as me. Make sure to check out Marine Layer, Grey State Apparel and Mollusk.

Thanks so much for stopping by. Do not hesitate to leave any questions or comments you may have below 🙂
