HOW TO WEAR A SUMMER DRESS FOR WINTER PART I

HOW TO WEAR A SUMMER DRESS FOR WINTER PART I

Hi guys! Happy Monday!

Sorry I’ve been MIA, I went on vacation and I thought I was going to write, but I didn’t hahaha but now I’m back!

There has been a few changes on the way I’ll be sharing my looks from now on. All of these changes were made because of your suggestions, messages and emails, so I really hope you like them. Here’s how it will be from now on:

There will be 3 new posts on the blog each week (Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays) I will wear one piece of clothing styled in two different ways and these two posts will go live every Monday and every Wednesday. It’s what “Ways of Style” is after all. I don’t have the biggest budget for new outfits, so I want to show you that you don’t need much to get creative with the pieces you already own and make them look like new.

On Fridays, I’ll be sharing a thoughtful post. You guys always react really well to these and to be honest, these are the ones I enjoy writing the most. I mean, I love fashion don’t get me wrong, but I also love sharing my experiences and the things I’ve gone through because you never know who you might help and it works as therapy for me. I think it’s important to be able to look back, have a story to tell and acknowledge what you did good and wrong and learn from whatever happened. That’s what I’ll try to do, and I hope you guys like it.

Also notice, that on the right menu, there are new categories organized by season. Also check out “Lifestyle” and “Words from my  heart” and a “Food” one will be going LIVE soon!!

So for this week, the piece I styled twice is this Navy Summer Dress.

It’s a super casual piece that you can wear all year round in so many different ways. I personally love this dress because I wore it on the first date with my love so it has a special meaning 🙂

This time I chose to style it in a super casual way with a plaid flannel shirt underneath, a puffer vest, tights and casual booties. Also accessorize it with a Daniel Wellington watch that I absolutely LOVE!

This is one way you can wear a Summer dress for Winter, seriously so easy, all you need to do is to add layers!

Let me know your thoughts on this look and come back on Wednesday to check how I styled the same dress in a less casual way!

Have an awesome week ahead! Be positive and grateful ok? Never forget to do that!

Thanks for stopping by,

XO

Hola a todos! Feliz Lunes!

XO,

I can so relate to your post! Even during winter I love to wear my dresses and put tights under so I don’t get too chilly! It is a challenge because of the weather but a good jacket, scarf and beanie does the trick!
    Love the post, xx
