HOW TO WEAR A COCKTAIL PARTY DRESS – PART 2

HOW TO WEAR A COCKTAIL PARTY DRESS – PART 2

Hi guys! Hope your week is going well so far!

Mine is ok, to be honest, lately I’ve been having OK weeks. It’s been hard to stay focused and motivated and I’m basically just letting days pass by without doing much. This week I started to do things a little bit different and set up a few small goals to accomplish throughout the week, so I hope it helps. I need to attract the positive energies of the universe. Have you been through dark periods? If you have, let me know what you do to get back on track! Anything you can share is much appreciated!

Well, on a much happier note, for this week I’m styling a cocktail party dress in two different ways. As I mentioned on Monday, wedding season is around the corner and I know it sucks to spend money on pieces that you won’t use many times. That’s why I decided to style this cocktail dress for the office.

You can probably pull this off with most cocktail dresses. Add on a button down shirt and a blazer on top. I would have gone with pumps instead of T-strap sandals, but I don’t own them hahaha and I wanted to wear black shoes, but you can get as creative as you want.

What do you guys think?

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog and taking the time to read my thoughts and scroll down my pics! It really means the world to me!

Hola!

Hello my friend. Let’s talk about how amazing you did by styling this. You need to be crowned spring queen of the blogger world, cause you continue to impress every one here with these 2 part posts. The way you turned the dress into a skirt is so creative and deserves a standing o. I’m sorry that your going through a dark time too, I guess you and me are in the same club. We gotta stay strong though my friend. Praying for you too.
    God bless you.
    Love, Dom

I love how you layered your dress with a shirt! It looks so effortless and so classy! I would totally wear this to the office because it’s not too dressy. You have such great ideas and I’ll definitely be using this one!
