BACK TO SCHOOL OUTFITS – PART 1

BACK TO SCHOOL OUTFITS – PART 1

Hello loves! Happy Labor Day weekend!!

What are you all up to? I am working today as you can see, but just for a couple of hours to post this and then I’m off! It’s funny but it doesn’t really feel like working at all and I LOVE it!

So… back to school… Not sure if you guys know, but I actually go to school! I’m doing a marketing program that lasts a year and I’m already on my third course. I graduate in April, yay! I think the ‘Back to School’ season is a perfect opportunity to revamp our wardrobes a little bit and to be inspired by the younger generation’s dress code without looking inappropriate. The beauty of fashion is that you can adjust any season or trend to your personal style and still look good without losing your essence.

I personally don’t feel like I’m 30, so for the first look this week I wanted to create something fun and young. I’ve worn this exact outfit way too many times and that’s why I decided to post it. It’s simply pairing up black skinny jeans, with a striped tee, comfy slip ons and I threw a shirt on top because I usually get cold out of nowhere hahaha and I always to a denim jacket, so I wanted to give it a try with something lighter…

You can wear the shirt or tie it around your waist, what do you guys think of this one?

How would you wear it? I love it both ways to be honest 🙂

Let me know your thoughts in the comments below! Hope you feel inspired to re create this comfy look for your day to day or if you’re actually going back to school.

Thanks for stopping by and if you’re in the US, enjoy the last day of the long weekend!

XO,
Signature

I really love that overshirt as it adds more dimension and a fun retro pattern. I usually wear a silk kimono during summer instead of an overshirt but this is a nice tomboy look xx

I had no idea you were in school for real…I definitely don’t miss any parts of it haha. Actually tying something around my waist always used to be one of my go to looks in school, since the classrooms were often cold and I often got hot when I walked around campus. This is the perfect back to school look. Digging the print mixing too!

I love this outfit! I would totally wear this haha. I know I tend to dress young but thankfully, like you, I look a lot younger! Very cute back to school pick.
